Finding a reputable day care service can be difficult. Especially if you are new to your neighborhood. You want to make certain that the people to whom you entrust your child are dependable and trustworthy. Of course, you can gain a level of confidence if the day care staff is professional when you meet with them, but you need to do a little research. The experience of other people can often tell a different story.
Finding Ratings Online
There are several daycare ratings websites that you can use to learn about other people's experience with a particular child care service. Sites such as DayCareReviews.com or ChildCareRatingz.com offer people the opportunity to rate and review day care services across the U.S. These reviews allow a potential customer of a service to check for any red flags about which others may warn.
However, daycare ratings only tell a part of the story. For example, what if a day care service has dozens of happy customers yet one customer has a bad experience and decides to take the time to leave a poor review? That one poor review may influence you negatively. Similarly, if a day care service has poor standards, but one parent or staff member leaves a great review, you may be influenced and make a poor decision based on the lone positive review.
