It is very important that you establish a policy that states exactly what the rules are for vacations.

Most daycares require payment for the week even if the child is not there.

It is important that the parents understand this before the child is signed up.

Punishment – it is critical that you set the guidelines for acceptable behavior.

There will be a number of children who is depending on you for their safety and they as well as their parents have to understand that there are consequences for bad behavior.

Establishing daycare rules and enforcing them will insure that your daycare will run smoothly with little risk of accident or injury to the children.
