Day Care Certification...
Looking for information about day care certification?
Many parents who have to rely on a two-paycheck income worry about the daycare facility that they choose for their children.
One way to alleviate the stress of bringing your child to daycare is to research the facility that you have chosen.
This is very easily done since in most states, daycare certifications are approved by the state.
You may also check with your local Better Business Bureau to find out if there have been complaints made against a particular daycare
center.
Daycare Centers...
Daycare centers today are very different from when they were first introduced decades ago.
Today, in order for a daycare center to stay open, there are many different certifications that must be met.
Failing any one of them could mean that your daycare center could be shut down.
To start out with, a state inspector will need to go to your facility, whether it is your home of another site, and inspect it.
He or she will determine it the facility meets state standards and issue you a certificate stating that it has passed the inspection. You
will also need to have employees that are certified in CPR, both infant and children, and they will need to be onsite as long during the time the
daycare is open.
It is recommended that you send your entire staff to CPR courses, however as long as there are more then two people who have the certification
the daycare center will do fine.
Many of the higher end daycare centers will also have a certified nutritionist on staff to prepare menus and snacks that the children will
enjoy, and a certified nurse on staff in case of injury or illness.
With the rising awareness in education, day care certification in centers now require that teachers be a part of the staff.
A teacher that is certified in early childhood education is a benefit that you can offer your children.
